Shipping Times
Most items on this site are made to order, which means part of the lead
time on your order includes having the item(s) made. Items that are in
stock can be shipped the next business day after recieving payment. For
"back-ordered" items, please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping of
small orders (under 10 items), and 4-6 weeks for larger orders. These
are average lead times; if the lead time is running longer or shorter
at the time you place your order, I will notify you.
Please keep in mind that I am not a reseller of these items, I am the
maker. Although I make every effort to complete work in a timely manner,
carving and tooling leather by hand is not the epitome of manufacturing
efficiency. If the feedback from previous customers is any indication,
I believe you will appreciate the handmade difference, and find
that it is worth the wait. So please note that I cannot guarantee
my ship dates, except on expedited orders. (See below.)
Domestic orders (continental US) are shipped UPS Ground. Hawaii, Alaska,
the US territories, and all international orders are shipped USPS. You
receive notice by email when your item has been shipped.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are based on actual shipping charges,
plus $3.40 for shipping materials.
For domestic shipments, actual fees will range between $17.39 to $35.74
for each item. Combining quantities usually does not reduce shipping fees,
because most of my items are large and must be shipped in separate containers
to stay within oversize limits.
Items whose prices are marked with a "*"
are shipped in packages classified "oversize1" by UPS. This
means they charge the same fee as a package that weighs 30lbs, regardless
of the actual weight, so the shipping is higher on those items.
For international shipments, you can email me prior to placing
your order, and I will gladly send you shipping information for your country
or region.
Expedited Orders
If you want your item guaranteed to be shipped by a certain date
that is no less than 2 weeks from placing your order, you can place
an expedited order. Expedited orders are 20% extra; if I fail to ship
your item by the requested date, your 20% rush fees will be refunded automatically,
and you will have the option to either cancel the order and get a complete
(100%) refund, or to complete the transaction unexpedited.
Remember that in-stock items are shipped within one business day after
tendering payment, so this option only applies to "back-ordered"
or made-to-order items.
Custom jobs may not be expedited.
Satisfaction Guarantee/Returns
If the item I ship you is unsatisfactory for any reason, please email
me within 10 days of delivery, and I will gladly refund or replace
your item, less shipping costs.
